Latta Plantation, North Carolina

I remembered hiking to Grandfather's Mountain last year so this fall, I was excited to give Latta Plantation a go which is just 20 min. drive from Dad's place. We stocked up on sandwiches and lots of water. We got lucky with a beautiful weather so I made sure to snap some pictures. Well, as always, there is something so soothing about being out in nature, ya' know, after a busy, busy week. Just made my weekend complete! Here are a couple of pics.

Alomah Farm, Dahilayan Bukidnon, Philippines

Alomah Farm in Dahilayan, Bukidnon is supposed to be just a family farm but because it is lovely place for recreation and retreat it is now open to public. You can sleep on tents, make bonfires, sing karaoke, ride on horses, do trekking or hiking  or just relax and inhale the crisp air and marvel at the rich flora of the countryside. Last May, my auntie Betty and Uncle Medel from New Zealand took us to this marvelous place.  Below are some random photos.
